AWS System Administrator

Job Description

The AWS System Administrator is required to provide operational support to clients services hosted in AWS.

Deliverables:

• Deploy, automate, monitor, maintain and managed AWS resources to ensure availability, performance, reliability, scalability and security of systems.
• Build, release and configuration management of systems.
• Provide first-level incident response for AWS hosted services.
• Problem troubleshooting, analysis and resolution across systems.
• Keep documentation and other resources up to date.

Skills and Technologies:

• AWS certified Solution Architect or SysOps Administrator
• AWS compute, storage, network and management services: Cloud Formation, VPC, ECS, IAM, R53, CLI, S3 Linux systems administration (preferably RHEL).
• Understanding of network protocols and services (DNS, Route 53, VPN, etc).

Other Requirements:

• Consultant can work with minimal supervision and is proactive in identifying issues and improvements.
• Processes are executed in a timely fashion, in accordance with defined service levels.
